Company History

Founded in 1991, KD Epps began as Kelvin Epps Painting - a painting contractor. Kelvin, the company’s president, newly deployed from duty in the military decided to fulfill his dream of starting a painting company. Over 30 years later and numerous projects completed, Kelvin Epps Painting has amassed the status and work history of a premier painting firm having worked throughout the state of Georgia in every sector and market. Established in 2022, with the help and guidance of friend Barney Bennett, a Senior Project Manager with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, KD Epps transitioned into a general contracting firm with in-house construction capabilities. While painting is undoubtedly an essential element of construction, expanding our services to encompass the entire construction process allows us to offer our clients a comprehensive solution for their building needs. With our experience in surface preparation, attention to detail, and commitment to quality, we are well-equipped to excel in various construction facets, such as renovations, remodeling, and new construction projects.

Kelvin Epps

Kelvin is a service-connected disabled-veteran who served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division with honor as a U.S. Paratrooper. The firm is managed by a U.S. Army Veteran whose personal core values are exemplified throughout the company's operations.
